CARDS TCG Store is an Onchain marketplace built on Base, where users purchase their favorite physical trading cards, including graded slabs and sealed booster boxes, using the CARDS token as the exclusive payment method. The platform integrates real-time stock management through Firebase, ensuring accurate inventory levels across all users. Transactions are processed via ERC-20 token transfers on the Base network, with a built-in mechanism to decrease stock upon successful confirmation. The project began in late 2025 as a response to the growing demand for tokenized physical collectibles. It operates as a MiniKit application within the Base ecosystem, leveraging Coinbase's OnchainKit for seamless wallet connections and wagmi for transaction handling. Users connect their wallet, select items from a grid layout displaying images, prices, and availability, and complete purchases through a quantity selector capped at current stock. After payment, a form collects off-chain shipping details, which are sent to the store operator via Resend API for fulfillment using USPS services. The CARDS token, an ERC-20 on Base with 9 decimals, serves as the sole currency, promoting utility through direct spending on physical goods. Tokenomics include burns on transfers to support deflation, with liquidity provided in a WETH pair. Incoming payments to the store wallet are monitored via Alchemy webhooks, triggering an automated swap to WETH through 1inch API via Zapier for immediate liquidity management. Security features include Firebase Realtime Database with read/write rules limiting modifications to verified transactions, preventing unauthorized stock changes. The smart contract uses OpenZeppelin's ERC-20 standard for transfers, with error handling for insufficient approvals or rejections.
