Qbyte Network is a blockchain-based infrastructure project designed to support decentralized AI simulation, distributed compute coordination, and autonomous system workflows. The network aggregates globally distributed GPU resources contributed by independent participants and provides an on-chain coordination, settlement, and governance layer for simulation and compute-intensive tasks. Compute execution is handled off-chain by GPU node operators, while task coordination, payments, and access control are managed through the blockchain. Qbyte Network uses its native token, QBYT, as the sole medium for payments, settlements, staking, and governance across the ecosystem, including services accessed via app.qbyte.network. All economic activity within the protocol is denominated in QBYT, ensuring transparent and consistent on-chain accounting. The protocol is designed with a fixed maximum token supply, no team-reserved tokens, and a community-driven economic model. A portion of transaction fees supports ongoing development, network sustainability, and buyback mechanisms. Governance is intended to progressively transition toward a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), allowing token holders to participate in protocol upgrades, parameter adjustments, and treasury decisions.
