GDLR, also called GDollar, is a token issued by DOMA that represents 10 milligrams of fine gold held in a vault. DOMA is a platform that converts vaulted physical precious metal into transferable Ethereum tokens, and GDLR is its gold token. Tokens are minted against the certified fine weight stated on each bar's assay certificate rather than the nominal bar weight, using the formula fine weight = nominal weight × confirmed fineness. Minimum accepted fineness follows the LBMA standard of 995.0 parts per thousand for gold. The reserve behind GDLR consists exclusively of physical metal and holds no cash, securities, receivables or derivatives; it is neither fractional nor synthetic. Metal is held in allocated form and fully insured, in a segregated sub-account at vault facilities operated by an LBMA-accredited or equivalent vault operator through the Issuer's designated custodian. Legal title sits with the Issuer's group asset-holding entity as trustee under a Declaration of Trust, so GDLR holders hold beneficial ownership of the gold that backs their tokens. The reserve is reconciled to outstanding token supply not less than monthly and verified by an independent auditor not less than quarterly, with the attestation published on the platform. Users complete Sumsub identity verification, purchase GDLR with USDC or USDT, and can redeem for stablecoin or for physical gold bars.
