WTH is ETH Wars?!
The Ethereum Merge was executed on September 15, 2022. This single event has transitioned the Ethereum blockchain from a PoW to a PoS mechanism. With such a major transition, we will see all existing miner's machines being rendered useless. This causes a split in the Ethereum community and various chains have/will be forked to accommodate this.
Who are the participants?
