Vinny is 11 years old, and he is one of the most special kids I have ever had the privilege of knowing. He has a heart of gold, an incredible ability to see things in ways far beyond his years, and a genuine love for the people around him. He is thoughtful, compassionate, funny, and deeply connected to his family and friends. This past year, Vinny received both the Presidential Award and the Principal Award at school—recognition that says so much about the kind of person he is. Vinny loves playing football, video games, swimming, laughing, and making memories with the people he loves. He is the kind of kid who makes the people around him smile simply by being himself. Now, this amazing 11-year-old is facing something no child should ever have to face. Vinny has been diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor called diffuse midline glioma (DMG) with an H3 K27M mutation. His family is now facing an incredibly difficult journey of treatment, medical appointments, travel, and uncertainty. We want Vinny to be able to focus on what matters most: fighting, healing, laughing, playing, and making memories with his family and friends. Unfortunately, the financial burden that comes with this journey is enormous. His family may need to travel for treatment and medical care, while also facing lost income as they make sure someone can be there for Vinny every step of the way. Funds raised will help with: • Vinny's treatment and related medical expenses • Travel to and from treatment and medical appointments • Lodging and other costs associated with traveling for care • Everyday expenses during this difficult time • Lost income while family members take time away from work to care for Vinny
